The Inside of Your Car Takes a Beating in Tigard

Tigard drivers deal with wet umbrellas dripping on floor mats, muddy shoes after trail walks at Cook Park, coffee cups that tip over on 72nd Avenue, and kids who treat the back seat like a snack drawer. Oregon's rainy season doesn't help either. Moisture gets tracked in from October through March, and that damp smell settles into carpet fibers and seat foam before most people even notice it.

A quick vacuum and some air freshener masks the problem for a few days. It doesn't fix it. Interior detailing goes into every surface, crack, and crevice to pull out the dirt, stains, and odor that routine cleaning misses. When we're done, the inside of your vehicle looks and smells the way it did before life happened to it.

Premier Detail Xperience brings the service to you. We work at your driveway, so you don't have to drop off the car and arrange a ride home.

What's Included in an Interior Detail

  • Thorough vacuuming of seats, carpets, floor mats, and trunk space, including under the seats and in seat track channels
  • Hand wipe-down of the dashboard, center console, door panels, cup holders, vents, and all hard interior surfaces
  • Fabric or leather seat cleaning matched to your seat material, including stain treatment on problem spots
  • Carpet and floor mat cleaning with targeted stain removal on soiled areas
  • Glass cleaning on all interior windows and the windshield
  • Deodorizing treatment to address odors at the source rather than covering them up
  • Door jambs and sills wiped down so the areas you touch every time you get in are clean

If your vehicle has more serious moisture damage or visible mold growth, that situation calls for a different process. You can read more about that on our Vehicle Mold Remediation page.

Our Interior Detailing Process

  1. Pre-inspection

We look at the whole interior before touching anything. This lets us identify stains, worn areas, and materials that need specific products so we're not guessing while we work.

  2. Remove and vacuum

Floor mats come out first. We vacuum every surface top to bottom, getting into seat seams, the base of the center console, and the cargo area. This step takes longer than most people expect, and that's the point.

  3. Treat surfaces

Hard surfaces get the right cleaner for the material. Plastic, vinyl, leather, and fabric each need a different approach. We work panel by panel so nothing gets missed.

  4. Stain work

Carpet stains and fabric seat stains get treated and agitated before we extract. We don't just wipe over them.

  5. Glass

Interior glass is cleaned streak-free. The windshield gets extra attention because interior film buildup affects visibility.

  6. Deodorize and finish

We treat the source of any odor and apply appropriate conditioner to leather surfaces. Floor mats go back in once dry.

  7. Final walkthrough

We check our own work before we hand you the keys. If something doesn't look right, we fix it before we leave.

Want the exterior done at the same time? Our Full Car Detailing service covers both inside and out in one appointment. We also offer Exterior Detailing on its own if the inside is in good shape.

Signs You Need an Interior Detail

Some of these are obvious. Some sneak up on you.

  • A smell you notice when you first open the door but stop noticing after a few minutes of driving
  • Coffee, food, or drink stains on carpet or seats that have been there long enough to set
  • Dust and film on the dashboard that wipes don't seem to clear completely
  • Pet hair embedded in fabric seats or carpet
  • Sticky or grimy surfaces on the steering wheel, door handles, or center console
  • Buying or selling a vehicle and needing the interior to present well
  • Kids or pets have been riding regularly and the back seat shows it

If the smell has a damp or musty quality and you've noticed any visible spots on headliners or carpet, check our Mold Remediation page first. That may be the better starting point.

What Interior Detailing Costs

We don't publish set prices because the right answer depends on the size of your vehicle, how long it's been since the last detail, and the condition of the interior. A compact car that gets detailed twice a year is a different job than a full-size SUV that hasn't had a deep clean in three years.

What we do before any work starts is give you a written quote. You'll know the number before we touch anything. No surprises added at the end.

Call Luke at (541) 829-1984 to talk through what you need and get a quote.

We serve Tigard and surrounding areas. See the full list on our service areas page.

If you're looking at keeping the interior in good shape on an ongoing basis, ask about our Maintenance Club Membership when you call. It's built for drivers who want to stay ahead of the buildup rather than deal with a major clean every time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an interior detail take?

It depends on the size of the vehicle and its condition. A standard interior detail on a sedan or smaller SUV in average condition typically runs a few hours. Larger vehicles or interiors with heavy soiling take longer. We'll give you a realistic time estimate when we quote the job.

Do I need to be home while you work?

You don't need to be present the whole time. We just need access to the vehicle at the start and for you to be available when we do the final walkthrough. Most customers go about their day and check in when we're finished.

Can you get pet hair out of fabric seats?

Yes. Pet hair is one of the more common requests we get. It takes the right tools and more time than a standard vacuum, which is factored into the quote when pet hair is present. We'll let you know what to expect before we start.

What if the stains don't come out completely?

We treat stains aggressively, but some stains have set into fibers permanently, especially older ones. We'll be honest with you during the pre-inspection if we see something that may not fully lift. We won't charge extra for a result we told you upfront wasn't guaranteed.

Is interior detailing different from mold remediation?

Yes. Interior detailing handles dirt, stains, odor from everyday use, and general buildup. Mold remediation is a separate process for vehicles with actual mold growth, which requires different treatment. If you're not sure which one applies to your situation, call us and describe what you're seeing. We'll point you in the right direction.
